Five years after the cataclysm that struck Earth, the remnants of humanity still face a constant barrage of asteroid fragments. The Garrity family and other survivors can no longer remain in Greenland’s bunker, so they must undertake a perilous migration across the frozen wasteland of Europe in search of a new home.
