In 1970s Detroit, John Miller falls for Sofia, the girlfriend of local crime boss Reynolds, and the feeling is mutual. Their relationship heads toward marriage, but Reynolds decides to remove his rival: corrupt cops frame John, and he is sentenced to 25 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. After escaping with the help of his wartime friends, Miller has only one goal left — revenge against the man who took away his love, freedom, and former life.
