In 1990 San Jose, California, Clark, a failed architect and struggling furniture-store owner, is on the verge of giving up. Burdened by his failed marriage, a sense of abandonment, and a therapist who cannot reach him, he discovers a glowing gap in the wall of his basement. He falls into a surreal nightmare of endless yellow corridors and a reality where time and space no longer behave as they should.
