In 1908, the first female student arrives at the University of Marburg. In 1972, a shy student falls hopelessly in love with a classmate, and in 2020, a Hong Kong neuroscientist cannot leave the campus because of the pandemic. A majestic ginkgo tree in the botanical garden silently observes human lives and the passing of eras.
