Spain, April 15, 1939. Only two weeks have passed since the end of the war, and Franco invites his top generals to a night of triumph. Meanwhile, in the hotel kitchen, a group of defeated Republican cooks secretly prepares the meal while also trying to use their last chance to escape the country.
