Circus impresario Max Medici hires former circus star Holt Farrier and his children, Milly and Joe, to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the target of constant ridicule. When the family discovers that Dumbo can fly, circus owner V.A. Vandevere sets out to exploit the little elephant’s unusual talent, while entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere aims to turn him into the centerpiece of a grand new entertainment venture.
