In 1650 Ireland, wolves are seen as demons and the forests around Kilkenny are being cut down as the local ruler orders them wiped out. Robyn, a young apprentice hunter, comes to Ireland with her father to help hunt the last pack, but after sneaking into the woods she befriends a mysterious wild girl named Mebh. Their meeting leads Robyn to discover the world of the Wolfwalkers and to question everything she has been taught.
