As a child, Adelaide had a traumatic experience at a seaside amusement park, where she wandered away from her parents and into a hall of mirrors and encountered her exact double. Years later, she returns with her husband and children to her grandmother’s house near that same park and immediately feels uneasy. When strangers in red coveralls appear at the house with hostile intentions, the family realizes they are facing something horrifyingly personal and inexplicable.
