In a small town in central Oregon, a schoolboy begins acting strangely at home, but does not rush to tell anyone about it. His teacher grows concerned that the boy may be in danger and, together with her police officer brother, tries to get to the bottom of the situation. They soon realize this is not about harmless childhood fears: something sinister is hiding within the walls of the old house.
