Jessica, a Scottish orchid grower, travels to Colombia to visit her sister, who is in a state of sleep, and finds herself plagued by a mysterious sound that seems like an explosion or a heavy blow. As she tries to determine its source, she begins to lose her connection to what is commonly accepted as reality.
